The Revolucion, the next incarnation of the Zonda, has been unveiled by the Italian manufacturer. As is customary for Pagani vehicles, it is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 Mercedes AMG engine that produces 800 horsepower and provides a unique driving experience when paired with a six-speed magnesium transversal sequential gearbox with a 20-millisecond gear shift time. The CCMR disc brakes, which are lighter than their predecessors and function at cooler temperatures, aid in bringing the 800 horses to a stop. Modern innovations like the DRS (Drag Reduction System), which modifies the rear wing’s downforce settings for improved stability, have been added by owner and designer Horacio Pagani.
A carbon-titanium monocoque of the Zonda Revolucion contributes to the vehicle’s weight of 2,358 pounds (The VW Passat weighs 3200 pounds). It is available for 2.2 million euros tax-free.
