Amber Heard is no longer on Twitter, a week after ex Elon Musk took over

On Thursday, anybody searching for Amber Heard on Twitter was met with a blank profile page that said, “This account doesn’t exist.”

A request for comment from Yahoo Entertainment was not immediately answered by Heard’s representatives, despite the fact that she has an active Instagram account with 5.3 million followers. In a $44 billion agreement, Heard’s ex-husband Elon Musk started taking over Twitter on October 28.

In the aftermath of the platform’s new ownership, some celebrities have declared that they are taking a vacation from or quitting the service entirely. Musk has declared that he wants to support free speech on the platform and take into account the reinstatement of accounts that the business had previously banned because, for example, they were promoting incorrect information or inciting violence.
Just after Heard’s 2016 breakup with actor Johnny Depp, Musk and Heard were romantically linked; their relationship became public the following year. They called it quits on their relationship in February 2018 after a brief split in late 2017. They looked to still be cordial, though, and her attorneys even included Musk as a prospective witness in her continuing lawsuit against Depp for defamation. Musk decided not to give a testimony.

Christian Carino, a former talent agency for both Heard and Depp, did appear in court, though, and he provided messages they had exchanged after Heard’s romance with Musk ended in 2017. Heard had texted that she was “simply occupying space” with Musk following the dissolution of her marriage in one of them.
However, about Depp and Heard, Musk tweeted in May, “I hope they both move on.” “At their finest, they are individually amazing,” he continued.

Heard’s Twitter account vanished on the same day that TMZ revealed another step in the protracted court battle between Heard and Depp. According to reports, Depp filed paperwork on Wednesday appealing the jury’s $2 million defamation verdict in her favour on a single count. Depp received $10.35 million in the same trial when the judge determined that Heard had slandered the Edward Scissorhands actor. Additionally, she contested the verdict.
