In the near future, Raven-Symoné might be prepared to put on her pink cheetah-print velour, but not without one of her cheetah sisters.
In an interview with E! News, the That’s So Raven actor hinted at her interest in taking part in a relaunch of the Disney Channel original movie The Cheetah Girls, with one stipulation: Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, her former co-star and close friend, must also return to the production.
When asked if she would repeat her part as Galleria, the head of the female group and a fashionista, Symoné responded, “You know what, if it’s with her. You are aware.
That’s as close to a “yes” as we’ll probably ever get, DCOM fans! However, Leanne Aguilera of E! News gave her a pretty compelling description of what a 2023 continuance of The Cheetah Girls might entail. Symoné and Bailon-daughters, Houghton’s who would need their direction as they adopted the Cheetah Girls name for their own group, would be the focus of the primary plot arc.
You know what I mean when I say, “You have give it up to the big dogs? Hey, Disney Channel president? Let us know your thoughts on the pitch, the Raven’s Home actor says. “I am open to positive individuals and good content.”
Symoné was absent from The Cheetah Girls: One World due to “cliquish” behaviour she experienced on the set of the second movie, but seeing Symoné and Bailon-Houghton return would make fans of the adored DCOM sing out high notes. However, getting back the entire Cheetah Girl foursome might present some challenges. But before there is a Cheetah Girls reunion, Bailon-Houghton will return to her role as Raven’s school nemesis Alana from the original Disney Channel sitcom in an upcoming episode of Raven’s Home.
